The Batescrew mentality

‘‘Quality that stands alone.’’

Batescrew believes in a wholistic approach to a contract. To ensure quality, Batescrew install a ‘‘system’’ rather than an individual pump, to every contract. Within this ‘‘system,’’ all supports, specific to your contract are designed and manufactured by Batescrew to ensure the suitability and quality of each job. From piped manifolds to anti-crocodile screens, Ag flexible couplings and elbow branched bends, all are options to be included in the ‘‘system’’ suited to your application.

The Fabric of the company

Batescrew have been running for over sixty five years and hold a large focus on longevity, reliability, quality and service. Our oldest running pump was installed in 1952 and holds the serial number 6.

A 9/11 Axial pump came in for it’s first service in January 2019 after running every year for 61 years (Installed in 1958). Before and after photos of Pump 208 can be seen below. It isn’t uncommon to have pumps come into the workshop that have been running continuously for over 30 years, the owner may have changed hands, the paint flaked off and corrosion at the waterline has occurred, but it still it runs as good as the day it was installed. We have a history of delivering quality service to some of the most remote areas of the country and the harshest environments, using tools that were purchased when the company first started to manufacture quality Australian pumps.

Tough Pumps

Batescrew pumps adhere to all national standards. They are carefully designed to survive working under tough conditions, being exposed to fire, flood, sand, mud, limited submergence and blocked screens.

Batescrew prides itself on it’s pump design versatility, allowing for adaption to a variety of challenging environments.

From single pump river bank installations to major turnkey irrigation projects, Batescrew offers a world of experience in the profitable utilisation and management of water resources.

With an ongoing commitment to research and development, Batescrew pumps are some of the toughest pumps in use world-wide.
